The Jackson In Action 83 Foundation, in partnership with the Florida Blue Foundation and the NFL Foundation, is excited to announce that registration is now open for our 2nd Annual Mind Masters, a FREE wellness workshop for rising middle schoolers, taking place on Saturday, August 23 at The Skills Center. The event will again feature a keynote address from international speaker and mental health advocate Nate Evans Jr., while distinguished psychologist and executive coach Dr. Nekeshia Hammond will offer an address for the parents of the youth during a morning session to provide them with tools to help them navigate their child’s emotional health. In addition to a thought-provoking breakout session led by Evans, youth will learn about cybersecurity and social media safety during a session sponsored by ReliaQuest. Youth will end the day with their choice of an interactive therapeutic session with options including yoga, art therapy, pet therapy, dance, photography, or physical movement. There will be opportunities for participants to receive giveaways throughout the day, and everyone will go home with a bag that includes swag items, as well as information on additional mental and emotional health resources.
